CULTURAL PLANNING GROUP

Contract Description: The Arts Coast Cultural Plan, also known as “Current,” is a comprehensive initiative that developed a long-term strategic plan for advancing arts, culture, and creativity in Pinellas County, Florida, with a focus on cultural tourism. This project assessed the needs and aspirations of the creative community, resulting in a 5-10 year roadmap for dynamic, equitable, and sustainable development of the arts and cultural sectors. The
goals included: increasing hotel stays and dedicated funding, elevating Pinellas as a creative tourism destination for resident and visitors, and elevating the cultural scene and supporting artists. The plan is currently in the process of adoption by The Pinellas County Commission.
